Joseph W. Jones, Sr. began his funeral service career at age sixteen in Troup County and has led Hall and Hall Funeral Home since 2009, having graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in 2004.

Founded in 1983 by Donald Trimble and now led by his niece Chedonna Trimble-Holston, a Gupton-Jones College graduate, the mortuary has maintained family ownership and operation while serving approximately 750 families annually in Decatur.
