About Ponders Funeral Home
Ponders Funeral Home was established in northwest Georgia in 1992 by Stonewall Ponders, a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service and member of the Pi Sigma Eta National Morticians Fraternity. The business has grown from its original Dalton location to include chapels in Calhoun, Fairmount, and Chattanooga, making it the area's largest funeral service provider.
The funeral home remains family owned and operated. Services include both traditional burial and cremation with options ranging from full funeral services to private memorial gatherings, plus tribute videos, keepsakes, and live streaming for distant family and friends.
