The Klaassen family has been active in the Grand Haven area since the early 1900s when Peter Klaassen arrived in the community. Dave Klaassen has been serving families in the Tri-Cities since 1964 and purchased the former Kammeraad Funeral Home in 1968.

As the original family-owned and operated funeral home in the area, Klaassen Family Funeral Home serves Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Fruitport, Norton Shores, and West Olive. The staff brings over 150 years of combined experience to their work with local families.

The funeral home offers tribute videos, photo memorials, personal memento tables, and unique displays for visitations and services. Both traditional funeral services and cremation packages are available, with options for visitation and ceremonies held at either the funeral home or church.
