Clock Funeral Home was founded in 1897 by Tiede Clock, who started the undertaking business with $125 out of the back of his family's art supply store in Muskegon. The business moved to its current purpose-built facility at the corner of Sanford Street and Grand Avenue in 1920, where it has remained for over a century. Tiede served as Muskegon's first coroner for 21 years, and his sons Theodore G. and Thomas C. joined the business after graduating from mortuary school, establishing a multi-generational family tradition.
The funeral home has served the Muskegon and Grand Haven area for more than 125 years. Clock offers both traditional funeral services and celebration of life events, with facilities that include space for receptions and repasts. The business emphasizes flexibility in service options and operates under what they call the "Clock Family Promises" with a satisfaction guarantee.
