Joseph W. Jones, Sr. began his funeral service career at age sixteen in Troup County and has led Hall and Hall Funeral Home since 2009, having graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in 2004.

Dunn founded Dunn Brothers Undertaking Company, and the firm has remained family-owned and operated for over a century, with Dunn Cemetery serving as one of the premier cemeteries for people of color during the early 1900s.
