Funeral Homes in Jackson, GA

Founded in 1972 by James Edward Shipp after apprenticing under his uncle at Shepard's Funeral Home in Sylvester, the business has remained a family enterprise for over three generations with expansion to a second location in 1998.

Founded in 1992 by Stonewall Ponders, a Gupton-Jones College graduate and Pi Sigma Eta fraternity member, the funeral home has grown from a single Dalton location to become the area's largest funeral service provider with four chapels across multiple counties.

H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel is part of a historic Atlanta funeral service organization with a 100% Service Guarantee on cremation services and 24/7 staff availability.
