Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home — Funeral Home in Lyndhurst, NJ

Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home was established in 1950 when Waldo J. Ippolito purchased an old sheet metal factory in Lyndhurst and converted it into a funeral facility. After Mr. Ippolito's death in 1974, Louis J. Stellato, Jr., who had worked at the firm since high school, purchased the business and renamed it with his wife Linda. Mr. Stellato completed his apprenticeship after returning from the University of Minnesota and service in the United States Air Force in 1971.

The facility has been expanded and renovated multiple times, including major updates in 1979 and 1991. All areas of the funeral home have been made fully handicap accessible. The firm offers tribute videos, keepsakes, and live streaming services for families who cannot attend in person.

The funeral home serves families throughout Bergen County and provides both traditional funeral services and cremation options. Veterans services are available for military families.
