Groveton Funeral Home was established in 1930 as Biscamp Funeral Home, founded by J.E. Biscamp and his wife who operated it for 42 years. Terry B. Cartwright and his wife purchased the business in 1972 and ran it until 2004, when Cartwright acquired the former Jackson Funeral Home and Waller-Thornton Funeral Home facilities.
The funeral home underwent major reconstruction that added a family room and covered parking. The business remains locally owned and operated, providing both burial and cremation services to families in Trinity County. Staff are available around the clock to assist families.
