In 1957, Martin and Grace converted their home in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia into a second funeral home location. The family expanded again in the late 1980s with a third location in Levittown. Martin built trust in the community through his daily visits to local homes during his ice and coal delivery days, which helped establish the funeral home's reputation.
