Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Jean Hall, former resident of 705 McKinley Street, will be held Monday, July 17,
2017 at 2:00 P. M. in the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Winfred McCloud will officiate and
burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hall was born January 31, 1945 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Chester Hogan and Rose Stanley. She made her transition Thursday, July 13, 2017.
Eva Jean accepted the call to Christ at an early age by joining Spring Hill Baptist Church where she attended faithfully and served as Sunday School Secretary, Missionary, and Senior Choir member.
She was a member of Oconee High School National Alumni Association, Inc. and a graduate of Oconee High School 1965 class.
She was employed at The Hayloft Restaurant for many years. She was married to the late Emmett Hall, Jr. whom preceded
her in death. Eva Jean was the extended family “go to person”.
She leaves to cherish her memories one devoted beloved brother Johnny Lee (Delores) Moore, one nephew Johnathan Moore of Carrollton, Georgia. Three sisters-in-laws Mildred Hall and Gladys Hall of Dublin, Felecia Hall of Albany, Georgia. Three brothers-in-laws Larry Hagan or Columbus, Georgia, James Hagan of Albany, Georgia, John Hagan of Warner Robins, Georgia, and a host of cousins. Mrs. Hall will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services. Friends are being received at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Geraldine Rozier, 217 Lancelot Lane, Dublin, Ga.
