AARON (Always Ambitious, Resilient, Outgoing, and Natural)- "AP”, as Lil’ Aaron was widely and affectionately known, was born Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Fairview Hospital in Dublin, Georgia, to Aaron Sr. and Dorothy Pierce. This young man of promise excelled in baseball, football, and wrestling and was a proud 2019 graduate of East Laurens High School, East Dublin, Georgia.
Planted and rooted in Christ at a young age by his parents and family, Lil’ Aaron was a member of Greater New Evergreen Baptist Church in East Dublin, Georgia, where he served faithfully on the Junior Usher Board and Soldiers for Christ Youth Ministry.
Lil’ Aaron truly loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending quality time with them. His personality drew people to him. He was a diligent worker who held an array of positions while pursuing his purpose. Lil’ Aaron passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, months shy of his 23rd birthday, which brings to mind Psalm 23: 2-3: "He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters and refreshes my soul. Lil' Aaron can now lie down in Green Pastures, free from the noise and chaos of this world, while God refreshes his soul. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents Leroy and Lucille Brantley, grandmother Mattie Brantley, and paternal great-grandparents Joe and Leatrica Lott, grandmother Gladys Pierce, and Aunt Imogene Ricks.
Lil’ Aaron is survived by his parents, Aaron Sr. and Dorothy Pierce; siblings LaDarien and Ariana Pierce, all of Dublin; and a special friend, Domineke Cannida of Sandersville, Georgia, grandfathers Derman Simmons, Sr., Swainsboro, Georgia, and Danny Williams, Jr. Miami Florida and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
