William "Bird" Walden
YORK -- William "Bird" Walden, Jr., 60, of 6608 Old York Road died Monday, January 6, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
Bird was a son of the late William and Lillian Anderson Walden. He was retired from Duke Energy.
He is survived by his son Joshua Walden of York, SC, brother John Walden of Peachtree City, GA, sister Patricia Hinson of Charlotte, NC, and two granddaughters, Makayla and Baylee Walden. In addition to his parents Bird was preceded in death by three siblings, Jimmy, Pat, and Rebecca.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
