William Clark, Sr.
William “Zero” Garland Clark, Sr., 72, of Clover, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 13, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at Bratton Funeral Home at 2PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 with Reverend Ray Long officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens following the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Bratton Funeral Home.
Born in York, SC, Zero was the son of the late William Cephas Clark and Berdell Martin Clark. He retired from Westinghouse Electric after 34 years and then went on to work at the York County Convenience Center. Zero served in the United States Marines and attended Union Baptist Church in York.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Rose Clark, son, William “Billy” Garland Clark, Jr. (Barbara), sisters, Phyllis Broom (Tommy), Patricia Goforth, and grandchildren, Will and Ben Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
