Walter "Bob” Green
YORK - Walter Robert “Bob” Green, 82, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016, at his home in York.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church with Rev. Barry Lambert officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, January 29, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home.
Bob was a son of the late Walter Lee Green and Grace Alexander Green. He was the widower of Lucille Clinton Green and was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. Bob worked at Rock Hill Printing & Finishing and he served in the United States Army.
He is survived by 4 daughters, Debbie Alexander (Johnny), Sheila Williams, (Chuck Dover), Barbara Green, Sharon Lewis, (Mike), brother, Kenny Green, (Ellen), sister, Margaret Ramsey, (Harold), special friend, Nora Gaulden, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Green, sisters, Betty Harper, Joanne Nivens, Louise Sheppard and Lynn Dowdey.
