YORK -- Victoria "Vicky" Glenn Gallman, 78, of 1810 Bonita Road passsed away Monday, October 20, 2014, at her home in York.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sam McGregor officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church fellowship hall.
Vicky was a daughter of the late Dr. Robert Henry Glenn and Loma Kate Young Glenn. She was the widow of Jimmie Lewis Gallman, and was a member and Elder at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church. Vicky was a retired elementary school teacher and librarian in Rock Hill and Burlington. She also was a volunteer with the Tarheel Triad Girl Scout Council where she served as a leader and coordinator, and also was a member of the Alamance County Service League.
She is survived by three daughters and their spouses Kathy Tanner (Kenneth) of Lake Lure, NC, Susan Osborne (Wendell) of Burlington, NC, Carolyn Warner (David) of York, SC, four granddaughters, Sara Huffman, Allison Osborne, Katie Tanner, and Sally Tanner, and great granddaughter Craigan Hughes.
