– Venita Hullett Stewart, 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. David Shytle officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday at the church.
Born April 22, 1935, Venita was the daughter of the late James Bryson Hullett and Elsie Mariah Sherrill Hullett. She was a loving and devoted mother and was the widow of Joe Scott Stewart.
She is survived by sons, James Stewart (Ann), Kelly Stewart, Mark Stewart (Vicky), Tony Stewart (Ruby), daughter Barbara Stewart, brother Houston Hullett, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Venita was preceded in death by sons, Wesley Stewart and Charlie Stewart, and brother Atlas Hullett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2020 Hillcrest Road, York, SC 29745, or to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, 2275 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
