Tyrus Kenneth Deese, Sr.

Funeral services for Tyrus K. Deese, Sr. will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Mt. Pullen A. M. E. Church at 11:00 A. M. The Rev. William Renfroe will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Tyrus Kenneth Deese, Sr. was born March 13, 1957 in Dublin, Laurens County Georgia . He was the son of the late Adella Adams Deese. Tyrus joined the Mt. Pullen A. M. E. Church at an early age and remained a member until he was called home to be with the Lord. He departed this life Thursday, April 20, 2017. Tyrus graduated from Dublin, High School. He was faithful employee of Southern Battery and Tire Company for over 22 years. He later found employment with Renfroe Construction Company for more than 15 years. Tyrus was united in holy matrimony to the former Miss Lisa Monique Evans on May 25, 1989. He was preceded in death by his mother, Adella A. Deese, father, M. C. Deese and one brother, Jerry Deese. Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Lisa M. Deese, children, Tyrus K. Deese, Jr., Cedrick Jones, Rico Wilder, and Reneisha Woodley. Two sisters, Sandra (Ira Lee) Hall, and Gee Gee Bigham three brothers, Benny (Barbara) Deese, Eddie Bigham and Gary (Lily) Moore. Sister-in-Laws, Stephine (James) McKay, Kecia (Arthur) Warren and Tisis (Quenton) Mims. Devoted cousins, Betty Jean Wells, Kenny and Erica Moye. 15 Grandchildrens, Devoted friends, Danny (Ellen) Cheeks , Jeffery (Sharon) Washington and Zachary (Georgia Mae) Lattimore. Mr. Deese will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services. Friends are being received at the family residence, 908 South Jefferson Street , Unit U, Dublin, Ga.
