Tommy Ray Simpson CLOVER Tommy Ray Simpson, 61, of 1789 Jim McCarter died Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at his home in Clover. Tommy Ray Simpson was a son of the late Tommy Ray Simpson and Maxine Ellen Osborn Johnson. He was a retired meat cutter and was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his mother Maxine Gregory Johnson of Tucson, AZ, daughter, Abbie Simpson of Clover, SC, two sons, Christopher Simpson of Calhoun, GA, Tommy Ray Simpson of St. Josephs, MO, three sisters, Nancy Stavalone, Amy Wiley, Vonda Simpson, brother, Sheldon Simpson, 10 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2011, at the home of daughter Abbie Simpson, 1789 Jim McCarter Road, Clover, SC from 5 - 8 PM. Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 6732 Hartman Parrish Post, PO Box 206, Clover, SC 29710 or to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.
