CHARLOTTE -- Tommy Lee McClelland, 65, of 3000 Scarlet Circle passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at CMC Steele Creek in Charlotte.
A memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Steele Creek Masonic Lodge with Rev. Mickey Totherow officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Tommy was a son of the late Carlton Lee McClelland and Dorothy Etheridge Cox and he worked at Standard Uniform Rental Service as a supervisor.
He served 20 years with Wilkinson Blvd. Volunteer Fire Dept, was a Past Master Mason in 1989 of Steele Creek Masonic Lodge,# 737 and was a member of York Rites and Oasis Shrine Temple, and member of the Steele Creek Eastern Star # 339.
Tommy was a loving father and grandfather who is survived by his daughter Michelle Totherow (Terry), his son Brian McClelland (Kelly), three grandchildren Tara, Shelby and Jim, his former wife Kay Auten (Frank), his close friend Rick Ward and his 2 dogs Buddy and Sammy.
