Thomas Newman McElroy, 58, and Ruth Ann Hoover McElroy, 60, of Townville, SC went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2021.
There will be a memorial service for Thomas and Ruth Ann, 2:00 PM, Saturday June 24, 2021 at Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville, SC.
A graveside service for Thomas and Ruth Ann will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Rose Hill Cemetery in York, SC.
Thomas was born April 30, 1963 to Joyce White McElroy and the late Bobby Joe McElroy and was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville, SC.
Ruth Ann was born October 6, 1960 to the late Albert Hoover and Mary Pauline Gardner Hoover and she was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville, SC.
They are survived by their daughters, Joey M. Hester (Cade) and Kacie McElroy. They are also survived by their three grandsons, Grayson McElroy, Connor and Asher Hester and Thomas is survived by his mother, Joyce White McElroy, sisters, Libby Girard (Bill), Susan McElroy and brother Steve McElroy (Brenda), Ruth Ann is survived by her brother, Frank Hoover (Janet) and her sister, Rose Ann Denton (Jimmy).
They are preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe McElroy and her parents, Albert Hoover and Mary Hoover.
