Obituary Notice
York – Thelma Ramsey Sipe, of York, SC, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Chandler Place in Rock Hill, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Reverend David Byrd officiating. The family will visit with friends in the cemetery following the service.
Thelma was born on April 6, 1938 in York, SC. She was the daughter of the late Joseph H. Ramsey and Blanche Montgomery Ramsey and the wife of the late John H. Sipe. She was a member of York Church of God.
Thelma is survived by two brothers Frank Ramsey (Margaret) and Carl Ramsey (Wilma) of York, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Thelma was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Sipe and her sisters Margaret Carpenter, Ruth Childress and Lula Elliott.
