Sharon—Shirley Alexander Feemster, 82, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill, S.C.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sharon, S.C.
Shirley was born August 12, 1938 in York, S.C. to the late Eldred Pickney Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Green Alexander and she was married to the late James Edward Feemster.
She was a member of Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church and she was a teachers aid and school bus driver. She worked her entire career in the York High School district.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Dianne F. Jones (Wayne), grandson, Jesse Landon Parkins (Samatha), great granddaughter, Ember Christine Parkins, brothers, Charles Alexander, Richard Alexander (Sandra), brother-in- law, Sam Feemster, Jr. (Gay) and 8 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by daughter, Tina F. Parkins, grandson, James William Bigger, brother, Harold Alexander, sister-in -laws, Annie Lois Alexander, Patsy Alexander and Gaynelle Feemster.
Face masks are required by the family.
