Remembering Shebby

Graveside Committal services for Mrs. Shebby Jean Wright Lindsey will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. in the Buckeye Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. David G. Flowers will officiate and the interment will follow. Ms. Shebby Jean Lindsey was born in Wrightsville, GA on January 9, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Varlonus Wright and Willie Bell Wright. Shebby grew up in the Buckeye Community and joined the Buckeye Baptist Church at an early age. She graduated from the B D Perry High School and soon relocated to Harrisburg Pennsylvania. She was united in matrimony to Charles Lindsey and to this union was born two daughters. She was a long time employee of Muth & Mumma Dental Lab and retired in 2009. During her years of employment as a dental hygienist, she was recognized as a loyal and trustworthy employee. Shebby was dedicated to her family and loved by many throughout her community. She loved the Lord, enjoyed reading her Bible, and cooking. Shebby was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Nesbitt and two brothers, Eclemus Wright and Willie Joe Wright. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories, two devoted daughters: LaTasha Harrell (Donald) and Avilda Bonds (Dale); three grandchildren: Charmaine Kingsland, Donald Harrell, and Lynzee Harrell; and three great-grandchildren: Dominik, BriAnna, and Kayden. Two sisters: Tomasenor Martin-Sims (John) and Ruby Wyche (George). Two brothers: Billy Wright (Geraldine) and Ronnie Wright (Nadine). Shebby has a host of other dear family members and countless loved ones, including three God-sisters, one God-brother, several nieces, nephews, and a countless number of friends. Friends are being received at the Wyche’s Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 5:00 til 7:00 P. M. and at the home of her daughter and son-inlaw, LaTasha and Donald Harrell, 501 Holly Drive, Dublin, Georgia 31021 In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Buckeye Memorial Meditation Garden Fund c/o Buckeye Baptist Church 2176 New Buckeye Road, Wrightsville, Ga 31096 Arrangements entrusted to Wyche’s Funeral Home, Inc.
