YORK -- Sarah Thrift Adkins, 84, of 813 E. Liberty Street died Monday, January 27, 2014, at her home in York.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Lemmons officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 2-3 P.M. at Bratton Funeral Home.
Sarah was a daughter of the late Elzie Thrift and Josie Galloway Thrift. She was a member of Gloryland Freewill Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by husband David Lyle Adkins of York, SC, 2 daughters Dianne Wyatt, Christie Evans (Robbie), son David Adkins (Elaine) and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
