Obituary Notice
HICKORY GROVE – Isabelle “Sara” Adams Forde, 83, of Hickory Grove, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 peacefully at her home and surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Central Baptist Church in York, SC with the Reverend Carey Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC. The family will receive friends following the committal at the cemetery and at other times at the home of Lisa Williams.
Sara was born on May 5, 1938 in York County. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Virgie Neely Adams and was the widow of Lester Marion Forde, Sr. Sara is survived by her children: Lester Forde, Jr. (Amy), Jamie Forde (Krista), Ronnie Forde, Sarah F. Comer (John), Lisa F. Williams (Dwayne), and Terra F. Rose (Brian); twenty grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
