SMYRNA -- Sandra Bailes McCarter, 59, of 293 McGill Road died Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at New Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Monica Tilley officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 1:30 - 3:00 PM at New Zion United Methodist Church.
Sandra was a daughter of the late Samuel M. Bailes and Martha Gordon Bailes. She was a member of New Zion United Methodist Church, and was retired from Stacy's Greenhouse.
Sandra is survived by husband Donald M McCarter of Smyrna, SC, sister Margaret Bailes of York, SC, brother Rick Bailes of York, SC, three nieces, two nephews, and six grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Sam I. Bailes.
