Sam P. Hoyle
CLOVER -- Sam P. Hoyle, 74, of 447 S. Beersheba Road passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday June 30, 2013, at First Wesleyan Church the with Rev. Dennis Harper officiating. Burial will be at Beersheba Presbyterian Cemetery in Clover. Visitation will be Saturday June 29, 2013 at Bratton Funeral Home from 6PM -8PM.
Sam was born October 28, 1938 in N.C., he was a son of the late Marshall Hoyle and Allene Meek Hoyle. Sam resided in York, S.C. for over 65 years. He was a member First Wesleyan Church of York. Sam worked in maintenance for York County where he retired, he also worked at Fieldcrest Cannon for over 30 years.
Sam is survived by his wife of 53 years, Brenda Harper Hoyle, sons, Ricky Hoyle ( Louise), Chris Hoyle, daughters, Donna Graham (Jeff), Pam Kimble (James), Angie Redden (David). Sam has 11 grandchildren, Matthew Endicott , Brandon Graham , Ricky Hoyle Jr., Steven Hoyle , Kane Kimble , India Jeror, Cory Robinson , Dave Redden , Cassi Redden , Curtis Hoyle and Kristin Hoyle. Sam has 8 great grandchildren, Annslee Hoyle, Jordon Burns, Lillie Burns, Sage Jeror, Noah Redden, Aiden Robinson, Ethan Redden, and James Hoyle. He has 3 step-granddaughters, 11 step great grandchildren. Sam is survived by sisters Katherine Rumfelt (Pete), Trish Gibson (Horace) , Nan Huffstetler (Tom), brothers Roy Hoyle (Alice) and George Hoyle. He was preceded in death by his grandson Shane Wallace, great grandson Bryson Jeror, his brothers David Hoyle, Junior Hoyle, and Robert Meeks.
