Ruth Rose Ashe, 85, of Smyrna, SC passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Garden with the Reverend Mike Thompson officiating.
Ruth was born on February 17, 1936 in York County. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Rose and Florence Anderson Rose, and was the widow of John Ashe. She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church in McConnells, SC.
Ruth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Hewett (Gary), Roxie Dover (Danny), sons; Eddie Joye (Connie), David Joye, brothers, Donnie Rose, Henry Rose, sisters, Elizabeth R. Blanks, Peggy R. McCarter, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Wylie and Keith Sexton.
