Rufus “Jay” Hardy Boles, Jr. passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 peacefully at his home.
The memorial service will be at 3pm on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church in York, SC with the Reverend Matt Burrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2-3pm.
Born in Mayodan, NC, Jay was the son of the late Rufus H. Boles, Sr. and Annie Fulton Boles. He was retired Master Sergeant from the US Air Force after serving 38 years and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Jay is survived by his wife, Lynda Jean Davis Boles, daughter, Amanda Allison (Robert), sons; Chuck Holland (Carla), Michael Holland (Shelley), Josh Heffner (Jennifer), sister, Barbara Ann Hubble, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
