Robert Hoyle YORK Robert Earl Hoyle, 80, of 674 Pamela Road died Monday, November 19, 2012, at his home in York. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Clover with the Rev. Tommy Wilkes and Drew Martin officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 6 to 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Robert was a son of the late Robert Andrew and Minnie Roberts Hoyle. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clover, and was retired from the US Army as an Airborne Ranger. He is survived by four daughters, Cherie Steadham of Pickens, SC, Renee Ayers of York, SC, Lucinda Hoyle Stone of York, SC, Patrcicia Shankle of Fort Mill, SC, brother, Lloyd Hoyle of Clover, SC, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
