CLOVER -- Robert Edward Howell, 76, of 210 Hampshire Lane passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Ivey officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Robert was a son of the late Walter Edward Howell and Dessie Head Howell, and was a retired electrician.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara Ann Griffin Howell of Clover, SC, children, Dessie Blackwood (Donnie) of Sharon, SC, Robbie Scates of Clover, SC, Robert Howell, Jr. (Renee) of York, SC, Walter Howell of Clover, SC, Crystal Taylor (Kelly) of Clover, SC, and Billy Ray Williams (Ginger) of Monroe, NC, sisters, Brenda Gilchrist of Illinois, Frances Hubbard (Frank) of Clover, brothers, Johnny Howell (Lisa) of Clover, and Jerry Howell (Dale) of Gastonia, NC, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother David Howell, sister Marie Pennington, and granddaughter Ashley Totherow.
