Robert “Dickie” Monroe Deal, 77 of Clover, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church in Clover, SC with Rev. Michael Coe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 at the church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York.
Dickie was born September 10, 1943 in York County to the late Clauston Monroe Deal and Virginia Clinton Deal. He retired from Westinghouse as a welder and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Merritt Deal, children, Scott Deal (Paige) of Clover, Ronnie Deal (Deedee) of Rock Hill, Katie White (Stephen) of Smyrna, grandchildren, Karli Parker (Tyler), Ryan Deal, Carson Deal, Lauren Deal and sister, Jean Deal Berkland of Mount Holly, NC. and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Lewis and Dot Deal.
