Obituary Notice Bob Currence YORK Robert "Bob" William Currence, 79, of 1919 Lincoln Road died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at CMC Pineville. A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America. Revs. Wallace Tinsley and Dave Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America Fellowship Hall on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 1 - 2:30 PM. Bob was a son of the late Pressley and Lib Moss Currence. He was the widower of Jeanette Youngblood Currence, worked at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing, and was a farmer. Bob was also a member of Filbert Presbyterian Church in America and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by two daughters, Beth Evans and husband Kevin of Gastonia, Robin Currence of York, and many beloved relatives and friends.
