Robert Bryant YORK James Robert Bryant, 93, of 1339 Philbeck Road died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at his home in York. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Bratton Funeral Home. Revs. Ray Long and Wallace Tinsley will be officiating. Burial will be at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home. Robert was a son of the late James Randolph and Lossie Neelands Bryant. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, was a peach farmer, and was retired from the SC State Highway Department after 27 years. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Sara Rowe Bryant of York, daughters, Patsy Alexander (Harold) of York and Margaret Armstrong (Woody) of Clover, brother Larry Bryant of York, sisters, Margie Philbeck of York, and Catherine Ledford of York, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers.
