Robert Lee Ashe, 84, of York passed away Wednesday, June 01, 2016, at his home in York.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Kiser officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 10-11:00 AM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Lee was a son of the late Robert Thea Ashe and Emma Snead Ashe. He was a member of Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict as Master Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Jan Ashe of York, SC, 4 sons, Kerry Ashe (Susan), Mickey Ashe, Cregg Ashe (Caroline), John Ashe, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.. He was preceded in death by his brother J.F. Ashe and sister Ruby Queen.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church, 2192 Meadow Road, Clover, SC 29710.
