Rita Ann Friesner YORK Rita Ann Friesner (Eldridge) 1953-2012. After a three year courageous battle against small cell cancer, Rita passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC Rita was born to Mr. & Mrs. Eldridge of Salina, KS on August 27, 1953. Rita met her husband, James Friesner, Jr. in Lawton, OK. They were married March 30, 1982 in Wichita Falls, TX. James was in the Army and Rita became an Army wife and traveled the world. She is survived by her husband, Jim and their two daughters, Bobbi Ann Groh (Friesner) and Elisha Rae Friesner, along with four grandchildren, her mother, Maglean, two sisters and a brother. She was preceded in death by her father, Euge. Rita loved gardening, curling up with a good book and jewelry making. She was a strong, courageous, beautiful woman and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of being in her company. I love you honey, sleep well. Until we meet again..........Jim.
