YORK – Richard Melvin “Rick” Dickerson, 72, of 406 Forest Dr., passed away at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the Larne Building in Clover, SC followed by a life celebration until 8:00 PM.
Rick was the son of D.M. Dickerson and Frances Walker Dickerson. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a Ford dealer. Rick started his career at his grandfather’s dealership, Dickerson Ford in York, and later owned and operated Rick Ford in Clover, SC along with his father D.M. Dickerson.
He is survived by his wife Lori Robinson Dickerson of York, children, Christa D. Bolin (Buddy) of Clover, Britt Dickerson (Angela) of Clover, Lil Rick Dickerson (Christy) of Clover, and five grandchildren, Myranda A. Thomas, Madalyn C. Thomas, Brooklyn T. Thomas, Brynn A. Dickerson, and Greyson L. Dickerson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Pkwy, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
