SMYRNA – Richard Henry Fowler, Sr. 86, of Smyrna, SC passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at New Zion UMC Cemetery with the Reverend Donald Love officiating. The family will receive friends in the church cemetery following the service and at other times at the family’s home.
Richard was born on February 16, 1935 in Gaffney, SC. He was the son of the late Fred Fowler and Caroleen Inman Fowler and was the widower of Charlotte Moss Fowler. He was a member of New Zion United Methodist Church.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Patti Fowler, son, Rich Fowler, Jr., grandsons, Zachary Fowler and Nicholas Fowler, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Smarr.
In addition to his parents and wife, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers: William Fowler, Carroll Fowler, and Robert Fowler.
