Remembering Rhonda

A Homegoing Celebration of Life service for Ms. Rhonda D. Wright will be held Saturday, November11, 2023 at 11:00 O’clock A. M. at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road, East Dublin, Ga. The Rev. David G. Flowers will officiate and the interment will follow in the church cemetery. On the evening of November 3, 2023, Robert and Joann Wright, Jr. received a special guest at their heavenly hosted family reunion. Rhonda Wright departed this life and gained her wings. She was able to finally say “It’s a Family Reunion. She was excited to be reunited with her parents Robert and Joann Wright Jr., grandparents Tom and Ruby Denson, Robert and Gladys Wright Sr., a hosted of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Rhonda was born in Richmond County, Georgia on December 22,1975 to the Late Robert Dell and Joann Denson Wright Jr. She grew up in the Buckeye community and developed a passion for family, friends, church and good food. Her education was completed as a member of the East Laurens Highschool class of 1994 and Valdosta State University earning a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Speech Pathology. Rhonda was employed as a speech pathologist with the Laurens County School System, the Johnson County School System, and Speech Therapy Unlimited LLC from 2004-2019. Rhonda was employed as a PRN-SLP at Communication Dynamics Pediatric Therapy in Macon, Georgia from 2009-2019. She was a founding member of S.I.S.T.A.s of Middle Georgia, Inc. (Sisters in Speech Therapy and Audiology). She was presently Employed with the Baldwin County School System. She enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and watching the Food network. She was and undercover gourmet cook. Left to forever Cherish her memory are a loving and devoted family. Aunts and Uncles: Lucille Denson, Christine Denson, Veatrice (Eddie) Rozier, Sheila Wright, James (Lillian) Wright, Gary (Lareta) Duty, Betty Wright, Alice Nesbitt, Louise Denson, all of Dublin, Ga., Janice (Johnnie) Anderson Sr. of Killeen Texas, Eloise Walker of East Point, Ga., Dorothy (Lonnie) English, Rose Handy, Catherine Denson of Miami, Florida, Phillip (Sandra) Duty, Tennille, Ga., Jimmy Wright, Wrightsville, Ga., Great Aunts and Uncle: Mary (Nathan) Carter, Inez (Kenneth) Sheppard, Bertha O'Neal and Felton Coley. Best Friend/Sister: Rosetta (Zeke) Hudson Her God Children: Kimaria Devoe, Daj'ana Shivers and Corde' Ashley God Sisters and Brother: Jamelia Anderson, Melinda Battle, Monica Godfrey, Nathan(Monique) Godfrey and Creshuna(Alvin)Darrisaw. Each held a special place in her heart. A host of Cousins, extended family and friends will never forget her smile.
