Rhonda Tompkins FORT LAWN Rhonda Hardin Tompkins, 49, of 5870 Thrailkill Road went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 01, 2012. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America, 2066 Filbert Highway, York, SC 29745. The Revs. Wallace Tinsley and Dave Hall will be officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Bratton Funeral Home and other times at the home of Tim Hartsoe, 1423 Summer Sweet Dr, York, SC. A native of York, Rhonda was a daughter of the late Lyle D. and Edna Cook Hardin. She was the Food and Beverage Director at Waterford Golf Club in Rock Hill. Rhonda is survived by her husband Mike Tompkins of Fort Lawn, SC two sons, Justin Hartsoe (Brad Woodbury) of Lake Wylie, SC, and Josh Hartsoe (Wendy) of York, SC two sisters, Glenda Deese (Carroll) of York, SC, and Kathy Ryan (Mike) of Clover, SC two brothers, Terry Hardin (Terry Anne) of York, SC, and Ronnie Hardin of York, SC and two grandchildren, Kadence and Alix. To describe Rhonda as an inspiration would be to sell her short. Rhonda looked at her illness with the same integrity and positivity that she gave to everything and everyone in her life. What a tremendous legacy of hope, joy and laughter she brought to this world. Rhonda will remain forever in our hearts and our lives.
