Remembering Reginald

A Home-Going Grave-side Celebration for Mr. Reginald V. Hall was held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in the William Chapel Church Cemetery. The Rev. Winfred McCloud did officiate and the interment followed. Mr. Reginald Vann Hall was born April 16, 1962 and raised by his grandmother, Letha Hall, in Laurens County, Georgia. At an early age, Reginald, referred to as "Vann" by family and close friends, joined the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church family. On July 23, 2020, Vann went to his eternal home to join his beloved mother and grandmother, whom he deeply loved and cherished. Reginald was a member of the West Laurens High School class of 1980. Soon afterwards, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. Reginald worked at United Parcel Service (UPS) in his early professional career. After UPS, Reginald held management roles at General Motors in Oklahoma and Best Buy in Atlanta, Georgia. In his spare time, Reginald enjoyed freelance photography and fishing. He took exceptional photos of family, friends and special events. Reginald was preceded in death by his mother, Retha Mae Harris, his grandmother, Letha Hall, and a son deceased at birth. Those left to mourn his passing are his daughter, Ashley Hall of Dublin, GA; grandson Ashton Rozier of Dublin GA; sister, Marva Hall of Martinez, GA; stepsister, Andrea (Gregory) Hadley of Albany, GA; brothers Douglas (Jackie) Hall of Auburn, GA and Thomas (Tania) Harris, Jr. of Leesburg, GA. Reginald grew up in a household that included two cousins, Emil Jerome Hall and Angela Hall, whose relationship to him was like brother and sister. Reginald also cherished a close relationship with his cousin, Gloria "Pat" Reese. In addition to the aforementioned family, Reginald leaves a host of loving nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his passing. Arrangements were entrusted to Wyche’s Funeral Home.
