Rebecca “Becky” Hathcock Lyda, 58, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at First United Methodist Church Clover with Rev. Tommy Wilkes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Born January 19, 1958 in Norfolk, VA, Becky was a daughter of the late Jennings Hathcock and Fay Elizabeth Kimrey Hathcock. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clover, and was an administrative assistant at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church in York for 20 years.
Becky is survived by her husband Charles Timothy “Tim” Lyda, children, Amber Salter of York, Sean Brown of Rock Hill, Wesley Lyda of Columbia, brothers, Dale Hathcock of Millers Creek, NC, Neal Hathcock of Polkton, NC, sister Teresa Jordan of Hendersonville, NC, and two granddaughters, Eva Kimrey Salter and Charlee Salter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Clover, 124 Bethel Street, Clover, SC 29710.
