Ralph Martin, Jr.
YORK -- Ralph Dixon Martin, Jr., 34, of 6789 Pine Forest Dr. passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery in York with Pastor Kenny Ashley of The Journey officiating.
A native of York, Ralph was the proud son of the late Pearl Harbor Survivor Ralph D. Martin, Sr. and was the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Charles Pinckney Roper and Mr. & Mrs. George W. Martin. He was a professional drummer and computer technician. Ralph attended Clemson University and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in York.
He is survived by his mother Pinckney Roper Martin, two aunts, Jane Roper Hart, Julia Roper, two cousins, Samuel Hart (Angie), Elizabeth Hart Troutman (Reid), and housemate and friend Jimmy Cobb.
