Priscilla Wright
A Celebration of Life services for Ms. Priscilla A. Wright will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1:00 o’clock P. M. in the William Grove Baptist Church, 104 West Mary Street, Dublin, Georgia. The Pastor, Rev. Johnathan Lewis will officiate, and the interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Priscilla Ann Wright was born July 26, 1964, in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia. She was the 3rd child of 13 born to Lee and Ada Mae Allen Wright, who both preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Dublin High School and attended Georgia College. Priscilla was called home by her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 14, 2025. Priscilla was a matter-of-fact woman who spoke firmly and stood her ground. She lived a private life, enjoying her family, especially her nieces and nephews. As the “family educator”, she ensured all her nieces and nephews were eager to go when it was time for school. She was known to sing her special song of love to them also. Although, she did not have children of her own, she mothered her nieces and nephews as her own with love-filled activities and discipline. She was an avid reader and liked watching movies. Priscilla also enjoyed cheering on and supporting the Dublin Fighting Irish football and basketball teams. For almost 30 years, Priscilla was a devoted and faithful employee with Dublin City Schools. She was a member of William Grove Baptist Church, where she enjoyed praising the Lord and growing her faith. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Patricia Wright, Jeffery Allen, and Victoria Wright, maternal grandparents Willie and Eula “Candy Allen, paternal grandparents James and Alvinnie Wright, and great aunt Ethel Spikes. She leaves to cherish her memories, siblings Frances (Charles) Wright, Randy Wright, Andy (Tosha) Wright, Alice Wright, Robert (Glenda) Wright, Lee “June” (Kita) Wright, Clifton Wright, Alton (Stephanie) Wright, Anita Wright, Cynthelia Wright-McIntosh, cousin/brother Curtis (Brenda) Smith, Michael Smith, and Chris Johnson, aunts Evie Jean Wright, Gladine W.
