Polly McClure Burgess, 69, formerly of Clover passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2018 at Dignity Hospice House in Chapmanville, WV.
The funeral service will be at 11 AM on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at First Freewill Baptist Church in Clover with Reverend Marvin Carson officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in York. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Bratton Funeral Home from 5:30-7:30 PM.
Polly was the daughter of the late Tommy Lee Peterson and Ruby Dover Peterson.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Burgess of Blair, WV, son, Eddie McClure of Clover, SC, 2 daughters, Pam Cassell of Clover, SC, Lisa Suggs of Sharon, SC, sisters, Margaret Vezina, Wanda Gail Hough, Mary Turner, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
