YORK -- Lester Roy "Pete" Rumfelt, 76, of 66 4th St passed away Monday, February 23, 2015, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Enon Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Ballard officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
A native of York, Pete was a son of the late Bud Rumfelt Sr. and Mary Essie Jackson Rumfelt. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife Catherine Hoyle Rumfelt of York, SC, children, Sandra Catherine Montgomery (Ricky Montgomery), Robin Lynn Leary (Mickey Leary), Lester Kevin Rumfelt (Peggy Rumfelt), Danny Keith Rumfelt (Dorothy Rumfelt), sisters, Bertha McGinnis, Helen Smith, Virginia Ballard, brothers, Bud Rumfelt, Jr., Pinkney Rumfelt, and James E. Rumfelt, 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
