Pastor Dennis Lee Ayers, Sr., 57, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at York Church of God with Pastor Glen Walters, Pastor Mike Wooten, and Pastor Brad Vassey officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 6 – 8 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church in York.
Dennis is survived by his wife Jennifer Burns Ayers, mother, Pansy Lipe Ayers, sons; Dennis L. Ayers, Jr. (Shea), Eric D. Ayers (Christy), Joel L. Ayers (Michelle), grandchildren; Nathan Ayers, Seth Ayers, Evelyn Jett Ayers, Dykoda Ayers, Josiah Ayers, Malachi Ayers, Ava Ayers, Austin Abernathy, Mykala Abernathy, Nathan Martin, Tristen Martin, Bailee Ayers, and Landon Ayers, sister Angie Weeks (Edward), and brother Kenny Ayers (Kimi). Dennis was preceded in death by his father Virgil Ayers.
