YORK -- Oneida Clinton Smith, 73, of York died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Kings Mountain Chapel U.M.C. with the Rev. Brian Preveaux officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 at the church on Friday, December 14, 2012, and the family will receive friends following the burial at the church. Oneida was a daughter of the late Ervin and Marie Wallace Clinton. She was a member of Kings Mountain U.M.C., and was a retired bookkeeper. She is survived by husband Dan Smith of York, daughter, Robin Smith of York, son Tim Smith and wife Lee of York, sisters, Gaynelle Mullis of Tallahassee, FL, Phyllis Moss of York, and two grandchildren, Daniel and Clara Smith. She was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Clinton. Memorials may be made to Kings Mountain U.M.C., 1130 Philbeck Road, York, SC 29745.
