Obituary Notice Dude Martin YORK Oliver "Dude" Martin, 80, of 1460 Quite Acres Circle, Rock Hill, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center Women's Tower in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday at Jubilee Christian Center. Pastor Richard Little officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park Cherry Road Rock Hill. A native of Smyrna, Dude was a son of the late Luther and Georgia Hardin Martin and was the widower of Naydean Broom Martin He was a member of Jubliee Christian Center in York, and was retired from Duke Energy 99 Dam and Eagle Wheel in York. He is survived by his son Ray Bradley (Kathy) of Rock Hill, and 5 daughters Wanda Oliver of Rock Hill, Betty Irvin (Jon) of Stafford, OH, Linda Brackett of York, Mary Kieffer (John) of Carlton, MI, and Melody Murray (Doug) of Kings Mountain, a sister Emma Dixon (Robert) of Richburg, Va., sister-in-law Joan Martin, of Smyrna, also are his aunts Ruth Hardin (John) of Rock Hill, Thelma McDaniel, Jessie Bell, and closest friend and adopted brother John Samples (Reba) of York, and 20 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren, 1 expected grand and 2 expected great grands, and number of nieces and nephews, he was preceded in death by his brothers WL Martin, John Martin, Burt Martin. The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home Friday August 24, 2012, from 6-8:00pm.
