Willie Fred Lee Lattimore

Funeral Services for SSGT (Ret) Willie Fred Lee Lattimore will be held Saturday, January 07, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. in the Macedonia Baptist Church. Pastor Cedric Cason will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Willie Fred Lee Lattimore was born in Henderson, GA of Washington County; at an early age, he and his family moved to Montrose, Ga.; where he lived the remainder of his life. He joined Macedonia Baptist Church and remained a faithful member who truly loved his church while serving on the Deacon Board 30+ years; the last 1 O+ years he served as Chairman Deacon until his health declined. Mr. Willie Fred Lee Lattimore passed peacefully from this life on the late evening of December 29, 2016 after a gradual decline in health Mr. Willie Fred Lee Lattimore served in many capacities to support his family. He served and retired from the U. S. Army while also; in his younger days, worked as a bartender, store owner, D. J., licensed mechanic, farmer, truck driver, and produce seller. One of his memorable past times was reading his bible. He was preceded in death by his dad Mr. Rogers Lattimore; as well as his mom Mrs. Veola Butler Vickers who went to glory in 2008; one nephew; one niece; and one brother-in-law. He leaves to cherish his-memory, his wife Bonnie Mae of 60 years, his 4 siblings; 3 brothers, Eddie (Margaret) of Dublin; Roger (Mamie) and James (Lucille) both of Augusta, GA; and 1 loving sister Carolyn Miller of Dublin, GA; his four children; 3 of Dublin, Tony Edward (Ruby) of Montrose; and 1 daughter Mary Marcelle (Roderick) Allen of Dublin; 15 devoted nieces and nephew; to include Sherry Miller who was one of his loving caregivers; 14 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren; cousins and other relatives and friends whom he loved beyond measure! Mr. Lattimore will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services.
